This data set is used to test the coefficient of friction of laser machined surface fabrics at different oil film thicknesses to provide a processing basis for surface fabric friction reduction. The data set is derived from pin disc testing experiments using the CETR-UMT-2 friction and wear tester. The friction reduction performance of laser machined surface fabrics at different oil film thicknesses was tested on the UMT-2 friction and wear tester. In the above tests, friction coefficient data was collected with a data sampling frequency of 100 Hz.
