The doped tungsten powder was prepared by solution combustion combined with hydrogen reduction. Ammonium paratungstate, ammonium nitrate, and glycine were used at concentrations of 0.01 M, 0.24 M, and 0.1 M, respectively, and lanthanum nitrate was used at concentrations of 0 M, 0.00068 M, 0.00136 M, 0.00275 M, and 0.00714 M to prepare samples with lanthanum oxide doping amounts of 0 wt %, 0.5 wt %, 1 wt %, 2 wt %, and 5 wt %, respectively (labeled as PW , WL05, WL10, WL20, WL50). The ammonium metatungstate raw material was first dissolved in deionized water and the prepared solution was heated until combustion to obtain precursors for SEM characterization. WL20 and WL50 were subsequently ground and reduced in flowing hydrogen at different temperatures (450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850 °C) for 2 h to obtain doped tungsten powder for xrd test. PW, WL05, WL10, WL20, and WL50 were pressed into blanks under uniaxial pressure of 700 MPa and then sintered in a tungsten furnace under flowing hydrogen at a sintering temperature of 1650°C, a sintering time of 2 h, and a heating rate of 5°C/min for SEM testing.
