The invention discloses a multi-wavelength chip combination excitation LED light source. The LED light source comprises a support or a substrate, LED chips of different wavelengths disposed on the support or the substrate, and fluorescent powder disposed on the LED chips. The wavelengths of the LED chips are mixed wavelengths within a range between 400 and 480 nm. The white LED light source of theinvention regularly combines the chips in different wavelength ranges and excites the corresponding fluorescent powder of the chips to reduce the ratio of harmful blue light, thereby avoiding the harm of the blue light to the human eyes. The LED light source reduces the ratio of harmful blue light while increasing color rendering and catering to the human circadian rhythm, and provides a higher-quality, and healthier lighting environment.
