SIMONS设计选用简单回热式循环,主要部件包括堆芯、压缩机、透平、回热器和预冷器。为了尽可能评估优化系统的质量,针对堆芯,结合单通道与蒙卡程序,提出了紧凑式固体堆芯的设计流程。针对能量转换系统,分别考虑简单回热式循环与间冷循环,结合部件质量的经验关系式,开展系统热效率与质量的参数化与最优化分析,并结合布雷顿循环回路参数进行换热器和涡轮机械设计。系统热效率为40%,输出电功率8 MWe。
The SIMONS design adopts a simple recuperative cycle, which includes the core, compressor, turbine, recuperator, and pre-cooler. In order to assess and optimize the system’s mass as much as possible, a design process for a compact solid-core is proposed by combining single-channel and Monte Carlo methods. For the energy conversion system, the simple recuperation and intercooling Brayton cycle is considered. The thermal efficiency and system mass is analyzed and optimized based on the mass correlations of different components. Moreover, the heat exchanger and turbomachinery are designed according to the design results of Brayton cycle. The system has a thermal efficiency of 40% and an output electrical power of 8 MWe.
