The effect of the minimum system temperature of 380 K on the SRC precooler is studied, with an optimal molar mass of 40 g/mol and a maximum operating temperature and pressure of 1273 K and 1.36 MPa, respectively. The results indicate that as PR increases, the mass of the precooler monotonically increases. This trend can be attributed to the fact that as the pressure ratio increases, the logarithmic heat transfer temperature difference of the precooler continuously decreases, resulting in an increase in heat transfer area and a monotonic increase in mass.
