To verify the applicability and accuracy of the turbulence model in terms of flow and heat transfer, we adopt the same simulation conditions as in the work by Kim et al. for comparison. One can see that in the comparison of the present result for heat flux variation with the work by Kim et al., the calculated results of heat flux in this work are in good agreement with the previous ones. It indicates that the numerical model can accurately simulate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of the PCHE.
