The invention discloses a design concept and preparation method for a structurally optimized chiral supramolecular hydrogel monomer. The chiral supramolecular hydrogel is centered around a hydrophobic core group containing a large π-bond conjugated structure, such as perylene imide, biphenyl, or naphthalene rings, with chiral amino acid units symmetrically connected on both sides of the core. By optimizing the hydrophobic core unit, the invention enhances the π-π interactions between molecules due to the larger π-bond conjugated structure at the molecular center, and synergizes with the hydrogen bonding between the amide bonds of the chiral amino acids, resulting in the formation of a more stable chiral assembly structure supramolecular hydrogel material.
