Using SH8-SQ, CF3-SQ and perfluorohexylethylene as raw materials, the silsesquioxane-based giant molecules ( G-2SQ, G-4SQ, G-6SQ and G-2SQ-2F ) were designed and prepared by different stoichiometric ratios. Then, using G-SQs as a low surface energy compound, EA was modified by a photo-initiated ' thiolene click ' reaction to obtain a hybrid hydrophobic coating that can be adhered to different substrates.
