2. Position Summary
The scope of this job is to support the China office of a U.S. non-profit organization in the implementation of its mission in China. This job primarily includes project based and administration work in order to ensure effective and efficient business development and operation.
3. Specific Responsibilities
·Provide support to business development
Main Activities:
- Maintain good relationship with relevant semi/quasi government agencies
- Coordinate the marketing work for projects; facilitate business development function by establishing contact details as well as names of relevant decision makers, cultivating the relationships and creating key accounts in key industries.
- Implement new business opportunities, develop project plans and provide regular reports on the progress/results
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships in key industries
- Provide daily communication and correspondence to customer on all issues related
·Provide support to membership services
Main Activities:
- Manage CRM system in China
- Work with sections/area on maintaining accurate local membership records (CRM system) and provide local support to members' needs
- Resolve administrative issues by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data and identifying solutions
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing objectives on increasing membership and retention rate
·Provide support to operation adminstration
Main Activities:
- Write correspondence, reports and documents
- Take minutes at meetings and submit minutes for approval
- Create presentations and spreadsheets
- Translate documents as necessary
- Create and maintain Weixin account and upload news on Weixin
- Coordinate with local vendor and headquarter on maintaining Chinese website
- Arrange logistics for meetings, international visits from headquarter and elsewhere.
·Performs ad hoc duties as required.
4. Education and Training
- Bachelor's Degree required; further study a plus
- Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, fluency in English required
5. Skills and Experience
- Three or more years of experience working with a U.S./Western association
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and ability to solve problems independently.
- The ability to use own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to supervisor
- Must be able to exercise discretion and solid judgment when operating in highly political environments.
- Must possess outstanding written and communication skills in English and Chinese.
