Glutathione peroxidase (GPX-4) can catalyze the conversion of lipid peroxide into the corresponding normal form. Therefore, it plays a key role in regulating the process of cell iron death. This study further explored the effect of DFO-NPs on RGCs by detecting the expression level of GPX-4 in RGCs.
