It can be seen from Figure 1 that the maximum primary dendrite spacing is 360 μm and the minimum is 69 μm. The secondary dendritic spacing maximum is 56 μm and the minimum is 23.8 μm. From the center to the edge of the steel ingot, both the primary and secondary dendrite spacing increase first and then decrease, and the maximum appears near the 3/8 radius.
