The tensile stress-strain curve of the Zn-0.8Cu microtube is shown in Figure 4-12. From the stress-strain curve, it can be seen that the yield strength of the Zn-0.8Cu microtube exceeds 217 MPa, the tensile strength is 278 MPa, and the material yields. The strength ratio is 78%. The elastic zone of zinc-copper alloy is short, the uniform plastic deformation zone is short but the plastic instability zone is long; at this tensile rate (eLc=0.0067s-1), a certain degree of work hardening occurs, and the final elongation at break is about 22%.
