本发明公开了一种提高可热处理强化铝合金搅拌摩擦焊接接头性能的方法。重点包括以下工艺步骤:首先将需焊接的铝合金材料进行固溶热处理,固溶温度(465~545)±5℃,保温时间(4~8)h,水淬后,放入低温环境中保存;采用搅拌摩擦焊接设备焊接铝合金,并在焊缝位置采用快速冷却处理,在抑制再结晶晶粒长大的同时,保证合金元素尽可能多地固溶在铝基体中,获得过饱和固溶体;搅拌摩擦焊接完成后,对整个焊接件进行峰值时效热处理,其中时效处理温度为(150~190)±5℃,保温时间(7~20)h。本发明可以避免焊接接头部位时效析出相的溶解和长大,抑制焊接接头的软化,提高焊接接头的强度和塑性,最终获得组织致密、强度达到母材强度85%以上、综合性能好的搅拌摩擦焊焊接接头。
