本发明公开了一种薄规格钛钢层状复合板的搅拌摩擦焊方法。首先采用爆炸轧制复合工艺制备钛钢复合板,钢厚度大于钛板厚度。焊接前,根据复合板的尺寸选择热输入量,计算出轴间压力及压下量、搅拌头旋转速度和焊接速度。焊接时,复合板同种材料彼此对接。将热输入量控制在9~20 kJ/mm,搅拌头旋转速度为300~500 r/min,焊接速度为40~60 mm/min,搅拌头轴间下压量为0.1~0.2 mm,小于钛层厚度。该发明方法与传统材料熔化焊相比,避免了缩孔、夹杂、裂纹等一系列焊接缺陷,减少Fe-Ti金属间化合物的形成,获得了外表美观、飞边毛刺缺陷少、尺寸精度高、质量好的焊接接头,实现了薄规格钛钢层状复合板的有效连接。
